How to apply for a credit card?

You can apply for a credit card with the required documents at any Cim counter/branch.

Payment methods

You can proceed with your monthly payment by either paying the minimum due or more via the following methods:

• Cash or card payment at any Cim counter
• Direct Debit
• Internet banking
• Mo Finans App

Note:

The mode of payment should be chosen on the date of your application.

Your balance can be checked as follows;

• Call our 24/7 Cards hotline on 208 9090
• Available on Mo Finans App
• Available on our Cards Portal

Card limit

Your card limit can be either increased or decreased upon your request:

Increase limit:

• You may visit one of our counters/ sub-offices with your National Identity Card, a recent payslip or bank statement dating from less than 3 months.

A fee of Rs 50.00/- will be charged directly to your credit card account upon approval.

Decrease limit:

• You may visit any Cim counter with only your National Identity Card.

Card Pin

You can request a new pin code by visiting one of our counters/sub-offices.

Your PIN code will be delivered to you via the chosen option requested.

E-Statement registration

You may follow the below steps to register for E-Statement:

• Contact us on  2089090
• Send an email at cardcallcentre@cim.mu
• Register via CFSL mobile app: MoFinans app
• Visit any CFSL counter

What are the card fees applicable?

Type of cards

CIM Classic cards - MUR 230.00 annually

CIM Gold cards - MUR 55.00 monthly

CIM Titanium Mastercard - MUR 230.00 monthly

CIM Business cards -  MUR 805.00 annually

Other Fees

• Interest – 2.1% per month on the outstanding balance
• Cash advance/Quasi cash – Minimum of Rs100 or 2% of the amount withdrawn
• Interest on cash advance/ Quasi cash – 2.1% of the amount withdrawn

Notes

If you have an additional credit card, supplementary card fees will be applicable as per below:

• CIM Classic cards - Rs115 (Annual)
• CIM Gold cards - Rs25 (Monthly)
• CIM Titanium MasterCard - Rs115 (Monthly)
• CIM Business cards – Rs 805 (Annual)
